… And what if the experts are wrong?   What if after spending $200 million per year on sex education in our public schools, and after spending 100’s of millions of dollars paying for abortions, that the new experts find the former were mistaken?

What if a mother and father taught their daughter that engaging in sex not only brings with it the physical risks (as 4 million teenage girls will contract STD’s this year alone) but that having sex as a teenager most assuredly brings with it the emotional risks.  The risk of emotionally growing up much too soon.  The emotional risk of losing the last bit of innocence in believing in their dreams, and now settling for “their first”.

What if the new experts find that little girls, all along, only  wanted to be little girls and that all they needed to remain so, was love and affection form their parents?  What if the new experts determine that the best person for the job is the parent and not an unaffected third party?  Since that time that the old experts determined that the government is the best candidate to educate our children, out of wedlock births have skyrocketed, with nearly 1/3rd of all births being to unmarried women, and an incredible 90% of these births are from young girls with no fathers in the home!  (Heritage Foundation)   And get this, 70% of  Black American births are to un-wed mothers!  What does this mean?  It means that when the system undermines the traditional family values by implementing the “experts” safety net with their socially engineered programs, “kids will be kids and are going to have sex regardless of what we say” offering the disenfranchised youth  validation by big brother to seek and explore, play  for free pay   philosophy,”   we may as well “teach them” the right (our) way” and if they get caught and make a mistake, we will be there (oops, society will be there) to pay for their experimentation, with welfare, medical, housing, and yes, tax payer’s paid abortions.  And no, abortion is not the topic, is simply offered as evidence that a young girl can make a mistake and get the tax payers to fix it – or temporarily numb the pain, as it is estimated that 90% of all women   who have abortions suffer emotional psychiatric distress, and are nine times more likely to commit suicide than those who have not had an abortion.

So, what if we parents decided to be just that, parents.  Parents who set boundaries, and take responsibility for raising our own kids, even the part of assuming responsibility for their mistakes.  What if we took the government out of the equation altogether and allowed (oops I mean placed) the responsibility back to the family, as fractured as it is with 50% of children growing up in a  fatherless household.  Perhaps this is precisely what families need to begin being families again.  When government is taken out of the equation and the real experts, that being the people, the people with a sense of responsibility for their choices, are forced to actively participate in the problem solving of their mistakes, the moral compass will once again point north-
