The wrong side of politics…

For far too long, the homeowner has been portrayed as the victim.  Allow me to correct myself, it is the  delinquent homeowner who has been used a tool by the left to demonstrate the gravity of our current economy.  This is so far from the truth and extortion of reality, it is difficult to believe that anyone who really considers the message, would actually believe it.  Unless, of course, you are...

Te root of the problem.

With much mud slinging about the causes of the downturn in the economy, it has been convenient to blame the sub-prime mortgage industry as the Grinch who stole Christmas.   However, this is what that policy is, convenient.  Convenient in that, much like the RTC debacle, politicians, think-tanks and consumers have largely glanced over the much bigger issues that led to and largely contributed...

Socialists against Walgreen’s

With respect to David Keck’s editorial and waste of space, who is he to tell Walgreen’s how to enforce their corporate policy, to which the terminated employee agreed to abide. It is unfortunate that Mr. Keck believes that saving a  drowning child is comparable to stealing from your employer.  If the employee was so interested in helping this homeless person, he could have given him his own...

Sex Education (indoctrination…)

… And what if the experts are wrong?   What if after spending $200 million per year on sex education in our public schools, and after spending 100’s of millions of dollars paying for abortions, that the new experts find the former were mistaken? What if a mother and father taught their daughter that engaging in sex not only brings with it the physical risks (as 4 million teenage girls...

Red and Blue States-Should be Black and White

Stan Brown’s response to my  comments about sexual educational, I believe, went a long way to prove my point:  Education is a key factor to lowered unwed pregnancy rates, along with a much lower percentage of single parent households, and a much lower level of poverty.  Which all ties into the fact that there is a strong correlation of a two parent household and attaining an education.  So...

Pointing Fingers…

With much mud slinging about the causes of the downturn in the economy, it has been convenient to blame the sub-prime mortgage industry as the Grinch who stole Christmas.     This is, exactly  what that policy is, convenient-   All too convenient of an excuse for the greedy consumer who wanted more than they could afford-  The industry responded to the consumer demand.  This is the way free...

It is not about economic (Race)

Lee Vickson’s only words that made any sense, were his comparing the terrorists in Iraq to the gang members in America.  Mr. Vickson fails to recognize that the social pandering to the “economic” classes have largely led to the problems we face today.  Throwing money away, educating the parents, is like weaning an alcoholic on lite beer.  It’s not going to happen.  We have attempted...

Interpreting the Constitution

David Rainey clearly misses the point, when he admonishes people for not understanding the checks and balances of the three branches of the government.  The role of the courts are to uphold the constitution of the United States, not interpret it!  Mr. Rainey utilizes Civil Rights as an example, and if his admonishment was to hold water, he would believe that the dozens of occasions that the US...

Inflating Housing Prices?

Steve Williams’ assessment of the fee increase in the city of Hesperia would be accurate if home builders were struggling to capture home-buyers.   They are not, and in fact, are limiting the number of new home released to the public,  as the demand so far exceeds the supply, that the builders cannot keep up with production.  This, simply, is the reason for the appreciation of home prices. ...

If not about race..

If the rise in popularity of Borak Obama is not about race, what does the  Nation’s leading black minister mean when he says about he possibility of Borak not being nominated ” He said in an interview that black voters could come to feel so disheartened that “their whole motivation for participating in the political process in this election would be greatly reduced”? (LA times, March...
