The reason why us AMERICAN citizens can not find or accept “change” here in the United States is because of ignorant thinking people like you. I do not mean to be crude, but in reality saying that people in general can not accept Obama because people are afraid of the African American race is not only the most reversed racist comment, but also the most close minded comment I have ever heard. Our country is not progressing because of people who think just like you. The lack of political education about both parties shows through your statements. I am not a fan of the McCain or the Obama campaigns, yet I do not think that your comment about Palin and McCain could hold any truth at all. There is no documented comments or references that either has made in the racist tense. And yes, as you have said slavery did bring many African-Americans to the United States and just as any other race here in the U.S., the African-Americans have played a large role in shaping the nation. However, nobody but yourself can hold you back from becoming something great. It is not only racist to say that a whole other race is holding your race down due to who you are, but it is completly unsupported. I agree 100 percent that African-Americans were mistreated in the past, there is no doubt in my mind. But come on, this is the 21 century. Obama Ignores Credit Card Donation Fraud

What do Bart Simpson, Family Guy, Daffy Duck, King Kong, O.J. Simpson, and Raela Odinga have in common?

All are celebrities; and with the exception of Odinga and O.J. Simpson, they also are fictional characters. And yet, all of them gave money earlier this month to the campaign of Barack Obama, without any apparent effort by the campaign to screen them out as suspect donors.

The Obama fundraising machine may owe its sensational success in part to a relaxation of standard online merchant security practices, which has allowed illegal donations from foreign donors and from unknown individuals using anonymous “gift” cards, industry analysts and a confidential informant tell Newsmax.

An ongoing Newsmax investigation into the Obama campaign’s finance reports has exposed multiple instances of campaign finance violations and has been cited in a formal complaint to the Federal Election Commission filed by the Republican National Committee on Oct. 6.

Though many of the known violations include donations in excess of the $2,300 per election limit on individual contributions and contributions from foreign nationals, the extent of the amount of fraud is hidden because of a loophole in federal election law.

Campaigns are not required to disclose contributors who donate less than $200 — and Obama’s campaign refuses to release their names, addresses, and donation amounts. Obama has collected a staggering $603.2 million. Most of the money — $543.3 million — has come from individual contributors, half of it from “small” donors Obama won’t disclose.

The Obama campaign has turned a blind eye to the possibility of donor fraud. Reportedly, during the heated primary battle with Hillary Clinton, the Obama campaign “turned off” many of the security features on its online donor page, allowing any person with a valid credit card number to donate using any name or address.

Typically, card merchants require a cardholder’s name to match critical personal details, such as an address or, at the least, a ZIP code.

Though in recent months the Obama campaign has tightened up security and restored some of the security features used by merchants to weed out fraud, it still has left open easy ways for potential credit card fraud, including techniques similar to those employed by terrorists and drug traffickers to launder illicit funds.

For example, on Oct. 14, an individual using the name “O.J. Simpson” participated in Obama’s latest small-donor fundraising drive, making a $5 donation through the campaign’s Web site.

Giving a Los Angeles address, he listed his employer as the “State of Nevada” and his occupation as “convict.” The donor used a disposable “gift” credit card to make the donation.

The Obama campaign sent O.J. a thank-you note confirming his contribution, and gave him the name of another donor who had agreed to “match” his contribution.

Four minutes earlier, an individual using the name “Raela Odinga” also made a $5 contribution, using the same credit card.

The real Raela Odinga became prime minister of Kenya in April and has claimed to be a cousin of Obama’s through a maternal uncle.

Obama donor “Raela Odinga” listed his address as “2007 Stolen Election Passage” in “Nairobi, KY.” This credit card donation raised no alarm bells in the Obama campaign.

A few minutes earlier, “Daffy Duck” gave $5 to the Obama matching campaign, listing his address as “124 Wacky Way, Beverly Hills, Calif.”

But just as with Odinga’s address, the “Wacky Way” address failed to raise any alarm bells or security traps on the Obama Web site. Daffy Duck also used the same credit card.

Within the hour, three other new donors gave $5 to the Obama campaign. They were:

# Bart Simpson, of 333 Heavens Gate, Beverly Hills, Calif.

# Family Guy, of 128 KilltheJews Alley, Gaza, GA.

# King Kong, of 549 Quinn Street, Capitol Heights, Md.

Newsmax learned of these contributions, which were all made on a single $25 Visa gift card (oddly, the total was $30), from a source that requested anonymity.

Calling himself “Bart Simpson,” the tipster said he had been following the Newsmax investigation of Obama’s campaign finance irregularities “with great interest,” and believed that some of the small donations were coming from gift cards — “you know, the type of disposable debit card you can pick up at Rite-Aid or just about any supermarket.”

“I tried it myself a few days ago,” he said. “I’m attaching for you proof of the contributions I made in the names of Daffy Duck, Bart Simpson, Raela Odinga, and Family Guy.

“What this means is that the Obama campaign does no verification of the name of the contributor. With a normal credit card, this wouldn’t wor[k], but with these disposable debit cards, no problem!

“This needs to be exposed,” he said.

The tipster attached the confirmation pages from the Obama Web site showing the names of the donors, and in some cases, the names of other Obama donors who had agreed to “match” their contributions.

None of the matching donors’ names appears in the Obama campaign’s public disclosures to the FEC.

Other donors with clearly fictitious names revealed previously by Newsmax, The Los Angeles Times, and blogger Pamela Geller (Atlas Shrugs) include “Dertey Poiiuy,” “Mong Kong,” “Fornari USA,” and “jkbkj Hbkjb.”

Five major companies process the bulk of all credit card transactions made in the United States, industry insiders tell Newsmax. The Obama campaign paid one of them, Chase Paymentech, just over $2 million to process its online transactions.

“We never discuss our relationships with any of our merchants, or customers we work with,” James Wester, a spokesman for Chase Paymentech, told Newsmax.

Newsmax asked whether Chase Paymentech had any security feature that would allow it to identify individuals making contributions using gift cards, but Wester declined to comment.

But other industry analysts, who asked not to be identified by name because of the sensitive nature of the issue, told Newsmax that processors could track gift cards and debit cards “only by the numbers on the cards.”

“There are no names associated with these cards, so as a processor, you have no way of knowing who made the transaction,” one industry analyst said.

Anyone can go into a supermarket or a Rite-Aid and buy a batch of these cards with cash, so there is no trace of the transaction, he added.

“It’s like walk-around money. They could be handing these things out as perks” to newly registered voters or others, “and there’s no way of tracing who is using them.”

Ken Boehm, a lawyer with 30 years of experience in campaign finance law, said that such contributions were clearly illegal.

“Making a contribution in the name of another person is the only part of federal election law that actually carries a criminal penalty,” he told Newsmax. Boehm is the CEO of the National Legal and Policy Center, a conservative think tank in Washington, D.C.

The Obama campaign has paid Synetech Group Inc. of Charlottesville, Va., close to $2 million to compile all of the campaign contribution data from online contributors, bundlers, telemarketers, campaign events, and direct-mail campaigns, and process it for submission to the FEC.

The sheer scope of the Obama fundraising juggernaut was “never contemplated by the FEC,” a company official told Newsmax, asking not to be quoted by name.

“It’s a lot of data. You’re talking 7 million contributions,” he said.

The campaign itself is responsible for screening out fraudulent donors, not Synetech, he said. “I’ve been doing this for 30 years, and this is as well-managed as any [campaign]. It’s just huge. When it’s this big, any little thing becomes something more than it is.”

One of the biggest problems the campaign faces is fraud, he said. “It’s a colossal problem. They’re paying the campaign with other people’s money.”

Individuals such as “Doodad Pro” and “Good Will” who made hundreds of contributions to the campaign in excess of the legal limits were not working for the campaign, but for themselves, he insisted.

“It’s all fraud. They do it for kicks. Or they’re testing the cards. The campaign doesn’t want this. Why on earth do they want to have all these messy little transactions? It’s a colossal pain.”

However, the campaign itself has solicited these “messy little transactions” in numerous e-mails to supporters.

For instance, just days before the Democratic National Convention in Denver, campaign manager David Plouffe sent an e-mail to supporters, asking them to “make a donation of $5 or more before midnight this Thursday, July 31st, and you could go backstage with Barack.”

Since them, the campaign has run several small donation drives, claiming to “match” donations of $5, $10, or $25 with an equal amount for a previous donor.

Newsmax put a series of questions to the Obama campaign more than a week ago in preparation for this article, such as whether its Internet contribution system automatically matches donors’ names and addresses to their credit card numbers, as is common industry practice with online stores.

Newsmax also asked if the campaign uses a similar security screen to match a donor’s name and address to the card number when the donor uses a debit card or a gift card.

Despite multiple requests from Newsmax, the Obama campaign declined to comment for this story.

Barack Obama: The Most Secretive Democrat in History

Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign says his campaign will bring a new level of honesty and transparency to the White House. Obama proudly touts that he and Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla, passed a law requiring more transparency via a public database of all federal spending.

But when it comes to offering the public documents about his own public and private activities, Obama’s record for openness gets an “F” grade.

During the heated Democratic primary, Obama complained of the Bush White House being “one of the most secretive administrations in our history” and chided Sen. Hillary Clinton for not releasing her White House schedules.

Ironically, Obama, just days away from possibly being elected president, continues to stonewall a growing chorus of information requests for documents about his legislative, personal health, education, financing, and background — leaving many voters to cast ballots based on incomplete information.

And serious questions about his past continue to swirl as Election Day looms, fueled in part by his own campaign’s refusal to make relevant documents available.

And the press, usually banging at the door for candidates to make “full disclosure” is strangely quiet about Obama’s stonewalling.

A Newsmax survey of key Obama aspects of Obama’s public and private life continued to be shielded from the public.

Among the examples:

* Obama has released just one brief document detailing his personal health. McCain, on the other hands, released what he said was his complete medical file totaling more than 1500 pages. After criticism on the matter, last week the Obama campaign also released some routine lab-test results and electrocardiograms for Obama. All test results appeared normal, but many details about his health remain a mystery.

* Obama has refused to offer his official papers as a state legislator in Illinois, and has been unable to produce correspondence, such as letters from lobbyists and other correspondence from his days in the Illinois state senate. There are also no appointment calendars available of his official activities. “It could have been thrown out,” Obama said while on the campaign trail during the Democratic primary. “I haven’t been in the state Senate now for quite some time.”

* Obama has not released his client list as an attorney or his billing records. Obama has maintained that he only performed a few hours of legal work for a nonprofit organization with ties to Tony Rezko, the Chicago businessman convicted of fraud in June. But he has not released billing records that would prove this assertion.

* Obama won’t release his college records from Occidental College where he studied for two years before transferring to Columbia.

* Obama’s campaign refuses to give Columbia University, where he earned an undergraduate degree in political science, permission to release his transcripts. Such transcripts would list the courses Obama took, and his grades. President George W. Bush, and presidential contenders Al Gore and John Kerry, all released their college transcripts. (McCain has refused to release his Naval Academy transcript.)

* Obama’s college dissertation has simply disappeared from Columbia Universities archives. In July, in response to a flurry of requests to review Obama’s senior thesis at the Ivy League school, reportedly titled “Soviet Nuclear Disarmament,” Obama spokesman Ben LaBolt told NBC News “We do not have a copy of the course paper you requested and neither does Columbia University.”

* The senator has not agreed to the release of his application to the Illinois state bar, which would clear up intermittent allegations that his application to the bar may have been inaccurate.

* Jim Geraghty of the National Review has written extensively about Obama’s unwillingness to release records related to clients he represented while he was an attorney with the Chicago law firm of Davis, Miner, Barnhill, and Gallard. Obama was required to list his clients during his years in the Illinois senate. “Obama listed every client of the firm,” Geraghty reported, making it impossible to discern which clients he represented.

* Obama has never released records from his time at Harvard Law School.

* Obama also has not disclosed the names of small donors giving $200 or less to his campaign. An exception to the finance-reporting laws exempts the campaign from reporting those who donate less than $200, but that law never envisioned the more than $300 million that has been raised by Obama in small amounts. The Republican National Committee has released its small donors, as well as McCain’s, on a public database.

On several occasions, the Obama campaign has offered to provide additional information to reporters if they have specific questions or issues. And in some cases, it has done so.

When Internet rumors began to fly that perhaps Obama was born outside the United States, for example, the campaign released images of a birth certificate that verified his birthplace as Honolulu, Hawaii. When that led to suggestions the birth certificate had been altered, the campaign again responded, allowing reporters to examine the actual birth certificate, complete with raised seal. (In late July, according to FactCheck.org, a researcher uncovered an announcement of Obama’s birth in the August 13, 1961 edition of the Honolulu Advertiser).

Such instances of cooperation pale, however, compared to the many unanswered questions surrounding Obama, such as the financing of his education, and requests for the complete release of all donors to his campaign.

Of course, candidates are often reticent to disclose any information that opposition researchers could use against them.

But Politico.com notes that the Obama’s failure to share documents is “part of his campaign’s broader pattern of rarely volunteering information or documents about the candidate, even when relatively innocuous.”

The hue and cry from the media for disclosure usually forces candidates to release sought after documents. But the press has largely acquiesced to Obama’s stonewalling.

Stop hating!

It clearly states in the United States Constiution that only US citizens born in the country may run for the office of President. A naturalized citizen can hold any other office in the land (like Governor of California, say)…but he can’t live in the White House.

And B. H. Obama IS a Socialist, verging on being a Marxist; the only thing to prevent that conclusion is his religious affiliations. Of course, his former Pastor standing in the pulpit and screaming “God Damn America” does very little to make me wish to give Mister Obama my vote.

Obama Lacks a Moral Compass

With the election two weeks away, one thing has become clear: Barack Obama is not only the most liberal presidential candidate in recent memory, he lacks a moral compass.

How else does one explain his sitting in the pews of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s church as Wright spews forth hateful fabrications about America, whites, and Israel? How else explain his being “friendly” with admitted domestic terrorist William Ayers, who told the New York Times he does not rule out engaging in bombings again?

In a chilling video on YouTube, Larry Grathwohl, a former member of the Weather Underground which Ayers helped found, says the organization planned to take over the U.S. government and give parts of the country to Russia, Cuba, North Vietnam, and China. The plans included “re-educating” Americans as Marxist-Leninist revolutionaries.

In the video, Grathwohl says he asked 25 leaders of the Weather Underground who were discussing the plans, “Well, what is going to happen to those people that we can’t re-educate, that are die-hard capitalists?”

The reply, says Grathwohl, was that they would “have to be eliminated.” When he pursued the question further, they estimated that “they’d have to eliminate 25 million people in these re-education centers. And when I say eliminate, I mean kill 25 million people.”

As repugnant as Obama’s relationship with Ayers is, the fact that for two decades Obama attended a church where paranoid hatred of America was preached on a regular basis is more telling. The senator counted as his minister, friend, and advisor a man who says that America created the AIDS virus to kill blacks, puts blacks in prison rather than killing them off, and deserved to be attacked on 9/11 because of its racism.

When the press finally picked up on stories Newsmax was running on Reverend Wright, Obama said he would not have belonged to the church if he had regularly heard Wright’s hate-filled statements. Yet when he announced for the presidency, Obama disinvited Wright from giving an invocation because his sermons can get “kind of rough.” Why did Obama not resign from the church then?

Last December, Wright gave an award to Louis Farrakhan for lifetime achievement. Why did Obama not resign then? Instead, after Newsmax broke the story on Jan. 14, Obama dissembled about the issue, saying the award was for Farrakhan’s work with ex-offenders. Neither the presentation nor the article about it in the church magazine mentioned anything about ex-offenders.

The truth is that Obama joined the church and adopted Wright as his friend and mentor because he feels an affinity for Wright’s radical views. Why else would he expose his kids to Wright’s “God d— America” tirades? Michelle Obama’s comment that, for the first time in her adult life, she feels proud of America, highlights the fact that she has the same blame-America-first mentality Wright promotes.

As with his minister, Obama repudiated Ayers only when press disclosures became too embarrassing.

As Max Noel, a former FBI agent who worked the Weather Underground case, tells me, “They [the Weather Underground] were a violent, violent, anti-government, domestic terrorist organization. Obama has not only associated with those people, he continued associating with racist people like his minister Jeremiah Wright over a period of 20 years. I don’t think that’s by happenstance. It’s just amazing to me. The American people are being led by the nose by people who say this isn’t important.”

In fact, Oliver “Buck” Revell, a former associate deputy director of the FBI who at one time oversaw the applicant and hiring process at the bureau, tells me the FBI would not hire such an individual as an agent.

“One of the principal purposes of the background investigation is to determine who an applicant associated with and the degree of association with any questionable associates,” Revell says. “Obama would certainly not have been hired on my watch.”

The Obama campaign has refused to say when Obama became aware of Ayers’ terrorist background. When Obama began going to Columbia University in 1981, both Ayers and his future wife Bernardine Dohrn, an FBI most wanted fugitive, were frequently in the news. Ayers’ violent past was well known in Chicago, where he was quoted regularly and described as a former radical and former fugitive.

Ayers orchestrated an event at his home that launched Obama’s political career. Obama continued to serve on the board of the Woods Fund of Chicago with Ayers for more than a year after Ayers expressed regret in the New York Times for not bombing more people.

According to Grathwohl, Ayers and Dohrn “probably had the most authority” within the Weather Underground.

Last April, Obama defended his relationship with Ayers. Obama said in a Democratic debate that he is also friendly with Rep. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.), whom he described as favoring the death penalty for those who carry out abortions.

“Do I need to apologize for Mr. Coburn’s statements?” Obama asked. “Because certainly I don’t agree with those, either.”

Radical as Coburn’s position may be, he was proposing legislation to be passed by Congress. That is quite different from Ayers’s admission that he bombed innocent people in violation of criminal law and that he wished he had set off more bombs.

Instead of finding ways to excuse them, Obama should have been denouncing both Wright and Ayers. Instead of voting “present” 130 times in the Illinois Senate, he should have been doing his job and taking a stand.

As Karl Rove has told me, “The public wants a president with convictions and the courage to act on them. They want a leader who is steady and firm, who can withstand strong political headwinds and won’t be blown about by events.”

As crushing as the financial crisis has been, it seems to me unlikely that Americans will send to the White House a man whose views are not only left of center but who doesn’t know right from wrong.

One Reporter’s Opinion — Obama, Charismatic and Dangerous

It is this reporter’s opinion that the further we go in our examination of the candidates for president of the United States, the more pandering we are able to discern.

We have spoken of Hillary Clinton and John McCain and their shortcomings. Now it is time to take a hard look at Barack Obama and his plans for our future.

A recent report on the Canadian television that said a “senior member” of presidential candidate Barack Obama’s camp called the Canadian ambassador to the United States to advise Canada that it should not take Obama’s attacks on the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) seriously is untrue.

The Canadian government told CNSNews’ editor in chief ,Terry Jeffrey, the following: “I can categorically say that no one has contacted our embassy or our ambassador.” These are the exact words of a Canadian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Andre Lemay, to Jeffrey.

He went farther in his denial of any contact. “None of our officials at the embassy discussed anything with the runners up in the presidential campaign. We realize one of the Canadian networks mentioned yesterday that such a call had been made. The report is untrue.”

When asked whether Ambassador Michael Wilson, the Canadian emissary to the U.S., had received a call from anyone in the Obama campaign, the spokesman flatly stated, “He had not.” Wilson was not contacted by anybody nor was any official in the embassy.

Now to the contrary, we find that a meeting did take place. So who is telling the truth?

It is this reporter’s opinion that Obama is dangerous — not because of the power he seeks, but because of the power he has.

He has the power to inculcate people with fear and desperation and to label it, “hope.” He has the power to divest people of patriotism and then present himself as the person who can restore it.

Obama’s rhetoric is downcast. He paints a picture of America as a wasteland.

Following the Iowa caucus, he declared, “Our nation is at war. Our planet is in peril. Our healthcare system is broken, our economy is out of balance, our education system fails too many of our children, and our retirement system is in tatters.”

These are the words of a man who is asking for your vote as president of the United States.

There is no question that people like Sen. Obama are offering the next generation a change similar to the promises that Adolph Hitler and Benito Mussolini offered the discontented youth of their respective countries.

However, it would be wrong to compare Obama with either of these despots beyond the manner in which they use eloquent rhetoric to manipulate the audience’s grievances and to seize political power.

The amazing thing is that the charismatic Sen. Obama has captured a younger generation that doesn’t seem to mind. We don’t mind taking drugs to make us feel better. Even if they only make us feel better temporarily.

This younger generation appears to think our lives are hopeless without Obama. But what happens when this discourse vanishes and the youth are left addicted to “Obamanine.”

It is this reporter’s prediction that when the inevitable occurs and we are left with feelings of need and empty promises, what happens when we realize that instead of giving us hope, Obamanine has made us feel worse?

What happens when we have become psychologically dependent on his prescription of “change?” It is far better to face the withdrawal symptoms now or eight months from now, rather than four years from now or 40 years from now, when we realize Obama’s promises never came to fruition? His programs may have hurt us more than they have helped us.

What a choice we have to make at this transitional period in our history.

The Senate is about to unveil tough new immigration bills. Senate Republicans are set to announce the hardest-hitting package of immigration enforcement measures we have seen thus far.

The legislation would require jail time for illegals (criminals) caught crossing the border, make it harder for them to open bank accounts, and compel them to communicate in English in dealing with federal agencies.

Most of the bill stands little chance of being debated in the Democrat-controlled Congress. But it is an alert to the continuing issue of immigration in this presidential election year when each of the candidates is pandering to please — reaching out for the vote.

Now if ever before, we face the greatest challenge to save our beloved country.

Mind you, this is one reporter’s opinion. We welcome yours.

It is a shame to know that in this 21st century there are still uncivilized people in this great country. It is unbelievable. This proves once again how goofy and unintelligent is whoever posted this nonsense. Those who believe in this garbage are just people with low thought processing same as the one who posted this. North Carolina GOP Tries to Link Obama, Ayers

RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina’s Republican Party is circulating a mailer that tries to link Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama to 1960s radical William Ayers.

The advertisement includes several photos of Ayers, including his mug shot. It provides a boilerplate of Ayers’ past radical activities and declares that he and Obama are friends. The mailer says Obama is “not who you think he is.”

Obama, an Illinois senator, has denounced Ayers’ past violent activities and has said Ayers is not and has never been involved in the campaign.

Ayers was a founder of the Weather Underground, a group that claimed responsibility for a series of nonfatal bombings at the Pentagon and the Capitol to protest U.S. foreign policies during the Vietnam War era. He is now a college professor at the University of Illinois in Chicago, Obama’s hometown.

Republicans generally and the campaign of GOP presidential nominee John McCain have accused Obama of “palling around with terrorists,” citing, among other things, a 1995 meet-the-candidate coffee Ayers hosted at his home for Obama as he launched his political career by running for state Senate.

The two also served together on a Chicago school reform group and a charity board, and they live in the same neighborhood.

But there is no evidence they ever were close friends.

Obama has said he was 8 when Ayers “engaged in despicable acts with a radical domestic group.”

Word of the mailer came two weeks before Election Day, with polls nationally and in some targeted states _ including North Carolina _ showing McCain trailing Obama. The Democrat has invested a lot of time and money in hopes of putting the state in his column on Nov. 4.

North Carolina hasn’t voted for a Democrat for president since Jimmy Carter in 1976.

Response to ZEL: The immigration laws are complicated and have changed throughout the years. The fact that John McCain was born on a U.S. Naval Base in the Panama Canal does not necessarily make him an illegal alien. The laws are too complex to get into and would have to be researched for the year he was born, but it is probably a matter of naturalization requirements and the particulars surrounding whether or not the military base and/or the Panama Canal was a U.S. Territory at the time. Obama’s situation and McCain’s are not comparable, nor did their births occur in the same year. Additionally, there has been full disclosure of McCain’s citizenship for years. Obama has yet to produce bonafide documentation of his “natural born” citizenship.

Um… excuse me but do I need to remind you that Ex President Clinton was a Govenor and I guess he was qualified to run the country. So tell me why is Sarah Palin not qualified. She actually has management experience. What does Obama have? How many people has he managed…. none. Give me a break. Palin is very well qualified. She is not qualified because she is a woman. Is or is not a baby born to an American citizen while she is visiting a foreign country considered legally “natural born”? It is not a complicated question.

Response to HEF: The answer is, oddly enough, no. The citizenship laws depend upon what country the mother is in at the time of birth and some other stipulations. Pregnant women traveling abroad are often unaware of this. While in these cases citizenship is usually easily obtained, there is an immigration process that must be completed when the mother and child return to the U.S. (to condense it down).
